In 1974, when burgers were not yet a popular food among Malay Muslims, Dato’ Haji Ramly and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Binti Abdul Manap created their own burger patty recipe and opened a burger stall in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur.
